This year I am looking up recipes that I would like to try for the holidays.
1 loaf Italian bread
2 8 oz pkgs. cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
2 cups cooked ham, diced
4-oz can diced green chiles, drained
1/4 cup green onions diced
Slice off top of loaf lengthwise and scoop out the bread inside--reserve it for dipping. Combine the other ingredients. Blend well and spoon mixture into loaf. Replace top of the loaf wrap in aluminum foil. Bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Unwrap carefully and remove top of loaf. Serve with corn chip scoops and reserved bread pieces. Serves 8 to 10.
