Jaymee and Ryan gave us a book of wedding pictures. Ryan Allen (son) sleeping on Christmas afternoon. A picture of a picture of our great niece Lyla that will be 3 weeks old on Wed.. Jaymee made the cake and brought it on Christmas Eve.

I saw this yesterday

so got a couple boxes. Thought I would do a pudding pie and put it into a graham cracker crust. On the box it said 1 3/4 cups milk, the mix and 1/2 cup cool whip. So I mixed it up. People like it. It is not overly minty. Upon taking this picture I was reading and the cool whip was to go on the top......but I think I like it in the with the pudding!

Our new addition

My nephew and his wife had their baby Lyla Rose on Dec. 6th. At 11:51 p.m.. She was due on Nov. 30th and I had been predicting Dec. 7th for a couple months and I missed it by 9 minutes!
She is a cutie. I went and saw her at the hospital last night.

Boomer my daughters cat was with us over the week-end while they were in a wedding out of town. When I got up to do something and came back to my craft table she was here asleep.

Reindeer Feed

My great niece and I made 64 bags of reindeer feed yesterday. I give to family, friends, co-workers kids and co-workers grandkids.

I hit a deer in my

great aunts car. (she is 81) She had a hip replacement on Nov. 1st. On November 2nd I went to the hospital and her sister (90) asked me to drive her home and I did and I am quite aware of deer on the road in the area and it came running from the cornfield and jumped the ditch and bam. I feel so bad. It is getting fixed now.

I made these items for a swap that I am in for December. The CD one I received in a swap from a friend a few years ago so thought I would try them. The snowflake one I got from Happy Birds Crafting on my sidebar. She has alot of ideals on her site.

Just to let you know........

Once again I am without a computer so I will not be on for awhile. Took it in yesterday and it had to be sent off so will be 2 or 3 weeks. I sure will miss hearing and seeing what you are all doing. Have a nice Thanksgiving with your families and be safe traveling if I am not back on.

Craft kits for craft day at my house

First deer season in my area is November 18th-2oth and they bring their deer to our house to hang and clean so I also do the cooking and watch kids. So my mom and I got some kits to have them do then. We would also like to make the cinnamon applesauce ornaments and maybe decorate some cookies.

She had a valance that she also put up and a flameless candle that looked like a night lite shining. It is like a childs bed to go to sleep.She had books, cookies and a sippie cup sitting on it.

To me material and cookbooks are an addiction. Can never have enough! Don't know why I like the vintage Santa but thought he was cute. (enough for 2 yds.) The turtle I will save for future use. It is a flannel and my daughter loves turtles. The other panel are ornaments to cut out, sew and stuff. 31 on there for 9.99 and there was another either 30 or 40% off. Cute for packages I thought.

FNSI I got more items done

for the shower today. Burp rags and a couple bibs. Think I will order the diva bib pattern and make her some more.

For my soon to be great niece

I always crochet these soxs for baby girls. A pair of pink and then multi. Have to do some bibs and burp rags yet for her. She is due end of November.

Received it today

A quilt (wall hanging) kit. I know it won't get done this year but I wanted to buy it, in case it sold out.

I have missed posting

Hello to all!

I have been going to all your blogs but just no time to post. My great aunt has been having some back problems so for about the last 1 1/2 weeks I have been staying the night with her. She has a small dog that goes outside about 10-10:30 and then again anywhere from 3-5:30 so Corky Joe and I go out and then I feed him, bring in her paper and then go home and maybe to bed or shower and get ready for work. After work I am not to engerized to do much. I don't mind ---- she would be there in a flash if we needed her. Her sister is 91 and might drive down from Indiana to stay with her.
