Taken in July.

Turkeys

Coming home from work one day/evening I had to wait for several turkeys to let me thru.  By the time I got the camera majority had moved.

My daughters crazy quilt

My daughter made the top back in the winter and we took it to a quilter end of May-beginning of June and we got it back tonight.  Looks nice.

Garage Cleaning!

The second picture is my daughter going thru some of her totes from earlier years.  She saved some stuff and burnt some.  Wish we would of had all her totes found when she was here and she could of sorted more.  She went thru several bags of t-shirts that we had been saving for a t-shirt quilt.  Which is why all the white shirts on the line.  I washed them twice and then hung them to dry (26) so the sun could help bleach them some.  The colored ones I washed in the house and put in dryer.
Garage is still a mess but it has came a long ways in 2 days.

Repainted one of our sheds

This shed was in need of paint when we brought the place.  Finally my husband rented the sprayer and got it done yesterday.  Looks so much nicer.

Sunset

Shots when at the barn feeding up.
Feather floating on the pond.
Love the sun over the corn field.

Miscellaneous

Some of our sunflowers that are planted at the barn. Have several different varieties.
Our new black ewe (Ryan brought it) and the white with it is our new ram.
Last picture is our ram, but he has been used twice so time for him to leave.  He is a good ram for breeding.  Goes after you once in awhile.
Allen go the shepherd hook for Christmas last year and he uses it a lot with the sheep.
Guys stacking hay.
Purple is a thistle plant.  Goldfinches love them but an unwanted weed in the pastures.

First picture is taken from inside thru front room window and zoomed in to see if I could get the butterfly.
One of the flowers around the fish pond.
A storm coming in.
I was across the road taking pictures of flowers by the fence and I zoomed in on the front room window.  My son saw a flash or 2 and wondered what it was. Didn't know I was outside.
Those butterflies always move when I get ready to get a shot.
Flowers all along the fence.

Which Bone Are You???

Someone has said that there are four kinds of BONES in
every organization.

There are WISHBONES who spend their time
wishing someone else would do the work....

There are the JAWBONES who do all the talking
                       but very little else....

                           Next there are KNUCKLEBONES who
                                knock everything down anyone ever
                                     tries to do....

                                  And finally, there are the
                                        BACKBONES who get under the
                                             load and do the work!!!

Hibiscus is doing so good this year.  The hummingbirds love the flowers.  Shorty and his friends.

Scarfs for Christmas

The purple is the sashay yarn and the pink and red are starbella.  I am amazed at the difference in the lengths.  I would think the red and pink should be the same length.  I do them the same (only way I know).

Chili-ghetti

Ran across this from a 2019 Simple & Delicious issue earlier this week.  Trying another recipe as I am typing this.  It is Apples & ...
