Peanut Butter Cookies

1 egg
1 cup sugar
1 cup crunchy peanut butter

Mix together roll into balls and flatten with a fork dipped in sugar. I roll them into the sugar and then flatten them out with a fork.
Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
I usually get about 27 cookies out of it. I have also used creamy peanut butter before but my family likes the crunchy.

Lily Mae

This is the baby of my daughter Jaymees best friend Erin. Lily was born on June 25th and her due date was August 20th. She weighed 3 lbs 7 ozs at birth and is now 6 lbs 10 ozs at 2 months old today. Jaymee had a small cookout and they were there along with daddy, Allen and I, Jaymee and Ryan and then Jaymees MIL and step FIL. Lily is so content and such a cutie pie.

Just what I need more......

fabric!!! Today my husband and I went up north about 1 1/2 hours to Amish country. Have always wanted to go and since we had some time off together and it was my birthday and our ann. on Wed. we went today. Anyhoo, we found one store that had TONS of fabric. All but the blue snowflake (1 yd. 4.98) I found in this large back room that was the clearance area. The flesh colored material was $1.00 a yd and there was about 1/2 yd left so she threw it in, and the other 4 were $2.00 a yard. I could of purchased more but.... The patchwork looking one I got 8 yards of. I just love it. Thought it would make a cute backing. Stopped into different shops and ate at a very nice restaurant. Was a nice trip and I am sure we will go again. In fact it was an easy drive so I can make it!!! :) :) :)

Thursday was my day

Thursday eve my mom and I went to Mt. Vernon and to Goodwill. I was looking for something but didn't find it but got myself these 6 items plus a white beater for 18.98! I rarely get to go to Salvation Army or Goodwill but Thursday I hit both and feel pretty lucky. Love the Autumn looking skirt and the white short sleeve blouse but they are just a smidgen to tight yet. I can get them on but will look better after some more weight is gone. Have lost 51 lbs. since Dec. 29th. But will admit that July and August I haven't done as well. Not gaining but holding steady. To hot to walk and then haven't did the inside tape either BUT I will get back on track!!!!! Every once in awhile I will buy something alittle tighter and then can feel so good when it fits and is loose!

Salvation Army

Thursday my daughter, husband and I ran to Centralia to do a few errands (all had to go so we picked her up) and we stopped by Salvation Army for Jaymee to look for a frame. She had no luck with that but the store had all clothes for $1.oo. I got these 4 shirts, she got 3 shirts and got my son 1. Not bad for $8.00 and tax.

Crocheted Towel Holder

I just found this on pinterest and had yarn and a hook right here (even the right size of hook) and I made it up in less than 15 minutes! This might just be a gift ideal. Will have to change yarn colors but..... I was also thinking of using a plastic ring maybe and crochet around it. Keep the towel off the counter and can change towels easily.

The picture was taken at an angle so in the first one it looks like rows are crooked. And for once they aren't! :)

Was trying to set the date on my camera and it jumped a day ahead. Also an hour ahead. Was working on that this a.m. so will have to look again.

Early Sunday shots

Cucumber beetles in a bloom of my sons blue pumpkins.

Some of the bird house gourds growing.

It seems our pond the last couple of years is really good at growing cattails. With our drought and the water levels down we need to get these taken care of.

The sun rise this a.m.. So pretty! The temps are lovely. Another glorious day that the Lord has provided us with.

The sheep we have at home now. Lambs are at another place. We are thinking these ewes are all bred now.

Cheese Danish

I made these yesterday a.m. for work and they were a hit.

Unroll an 8 oz. tube crescent dough and separate into 4 rectangles. Seal perforations; cut each in half, making 8 squares. Beat 4 oz. cream cheese with 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar; spread 1 Tbsp. diagonally across each square. Top with 1 Tbsp. raspberry jam (I used strawberry preserves). Pinch 2 opposite corners of dough over filling to seal. Bake on parchment paper-lined baking sheets at 375 for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. combine 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar with 2 tsp. milk and drizzle over danishes. Makes 8e

Our feeders are so busy. We do about 24 cups of water a day. I know some people do alot more than that. Seems to be alot of females this year.

Another piece

This is the chest he got too

Makeover

My son redid his room from camo walls to a solid color. Have some things to do yet but almost there. The one area was a window we blocked off and I think we will get some real tree fabric and put in there. This chest and a dresser he got at a flea market store.

Pickles our cat (was daughters but she stayed when Jaymee left) thought she would help as we were looking at redoing our chairs.

Chili-ghetti

Ran across this from a 2019 Simple & Delicious issue earlier this week.  Trying another recipe as I am typing this.  It is Apples & ...
