My husband replacing something on the mower.
My son working on the chipper/shredder.
Our lettuce we can start picking. (don't look at the weeds)
This is a zoom in shot of the dirt rode that I walk. It is directly out of our drive from where I took it. It is a mile to the end and back.
Bluebells in the ditch along our side. I love them. We have dug some up and have them around our dogwood tree. I had poison ivy so bad the year Ryan and I did that!!! My heading picture shows that alittle.

Eastern Bluebirds

are my favorite so I was stalking them earlier today. We have several nesting boxes up and in this one is 3 eggs so far.

More for my stash but...

these will get used and not just be stored. The fleece is for my nieces throw for her b'day in a couple weeks. She loves monkeys and the color pink. The balloon material will be for a checkbook cover and a purse cover.

Nature

A storm was a brewing just a short time ago. Before that I got these shots of things in bloom. I love the colors of spring.

Cold Frames

My husband and son got some cold frames built last Sunday and planted some seed. In our garden we have peas, lettuce, radishes, spinach and turnips coming up. Asparagus is starting to poke thru too.

Gotta do what you gotta do

Yesterday afternoon I made cookies and had bread in 2 loaves rising on the stove and they weren't doing to good so I took a couple bath towels off a stack I was folding and 2 kitchen towels and made a tent to capture the heat from the oven when cookies were done and I opened the door alittle. Worked good!

Vanilla

Trying to decide

Want to repaint the laundry room. Leaning towards the orange or the last blue but think orange is going to get it.

A recipe I had for a few years

and I just tried it. I have seen it on some other blogs lately and thought i would try it.
Quicky Black Forest Cake
4 cups mini marshmallows
1 chocolate cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
Spray a 9X13 dish and put the marshmallows in, mix the cake mix according to instructions and pour over the marshmallows and then spoon the cherry pie filling over it. Bake at 350 for about 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Can eat plain or with cool whip on top.

Chili-ghetti

Ran across this from a 2019 Simple & Delicious issue earlier this week.  Trying another recipe as I am typing this.  It is Apples & ...
