Christmas Gift for 2020

I just finished crocheting this blanket. (on 7-2)  It is for my granddaughter for her dolls.  Just double crocheted rows and then I put the shell border on.  I just learned it from you tube.  It was so easy.

Have you started on any of your gifts that you plan to make for Christmas?

Fun Fur Flip Flops

Years ago I did several pairs on bigger pairs. Yesterday I did for a granddaughter and 2 great nieces.  Need to find out the size for another great niece in Texas.

Crocheted Christmas Wreath Ornament

I crocheted this ornament at lunch today and then came home and ran the ribbon in it.  I think alittle thicker ribbon would look better.

I found the pattern at:

http://whiskersandwool.BlogSpot.com

She has crocheted snowflakes, peppermint candies, stars, presents, a cute snowman cover up for a round vase and items for other holidays.

I was thinking like with the presents, stars or any of the crocheted items you could put a picture in the circle and cover the back with felt.

It calls for a 2" round ring and around here craft items are hard to find and didn't think to order on line so I used the o-ring from a gallon of milk.  Had read that before somewhere.

Few more completed projects

How I wish I had more time to make stuff, besides sitting on pinterest looking for ideals and then everyday life activities like work etc. that has to be done.  Don't we all?  The first couple of pictures is of a head band ear warmer I crocheted.  My friend came me one for Christmas and told me how she did it.

The little dress I have been wanting to do and did it last night/and a.m..  It is called the 10 minute dress it was fun, easy and could be ADDITIVE (like the crocheting scarfs).  It is 3-6 and Teigan is still in 0-3 so will get use of it.

Found the yarn!

2 or 3 weeks ago when I was at Dollar Tree I saw a lady in an orange shirt with a scarf from this yarn.  I told her I liked the scarf and then I went on a search for the yarn.  It is in the Sundance collection.  They have one with the yellow in it also along with several other beautiful colors.  It came in the mail Friday and last night I did the scarf.  Made it 3 times before I got the length I wanted.  Normally I put 9 stitches on the crochet hook but with this one I only put 6 and it is the length I want.  I even brought the orange shirt before I found the yarn.

Crocheted Towel Holder

I just found this on pinterest and had yarn and a hook right here (even the right size of hook) and I made it up in less than 15 minutes! This might just be a gift ideal. Will have to change yarn colors but..... I was also thinking of using a plastic ring maybe and crochet around it. Keep the towel off the counter and can change towels easily.

The picture was taken at an angle so in the first one it looks like rows are crooked. And for once they aren't! :)

Was trying to set the date on my camera and it jumped a day ahead. Also an hour ahead. Was working on that this a.m. so will have to look again.
