3 egg whites
1/8 teaspoon salt
3 1/2 Tablespoons cherry gelatin mix
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vinegar
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Use an electric mixer to beat egg whites and salt in a glass mixing bowl until foamy, set aside. Mix gelatin and sugar together, gradually add to egg white mixture and beat until peaks form. Stir in vinegar, fold in chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls close together on aluminum foil-lined baking sheet. Bake at 250 degrees for 25 minutes: turn oven off and leave in oven 20 additional minutes. Makes about one pound.
Try raspberry gelatin also.
