12 cinnamon graham crackers
2 cups walnuts or pecans chopped
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In the bottom of a greased 15X10" jelly roll pan arrange graham crackers in a single layer with sides touching. aprinkle nuts evenly over crackers. In a small heavy saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Stirring constantly cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves and mixture begins to boil. Continue to boil syrup for 3 minutes longer withour stirring, pour over crackers. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until bubbly and slightly darker around the edges. Cool completely in the pan. Break into pieces. Store in an airtight container. Yields about 1 1/2 pounds of candy.
