Gumdrop Bread

Very pretty for Christmas

2 cups biscuit/baking mix
2/3 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 cups milk
1 1/2 cups chopped nuts
1 cup chopped gumdrops

In a bowl combine biscuit mix and sugar.  In another bowl, beat the egg and milk and add to dry ingredients and stir well.  Add nuts and gumdrops stir just until mixed.  Pour into 3 greased 5 3/4x3x2" loaf pans.  Bake at 350 for 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.  Cool for 10 to 15 minutes in pan and remove to finish cooling.

Yield: 3 mini loaves

I have put these on trays and also made them bigger.  It was several years ago---may have to do them again.
