Doll Items
These are the doll items I made for my granddaughters 3rd birthday. Hooded towels, washcloths, bibs, burp rags, taggie, diapers, wipes, changing pad and blanket that reverses and then the diaper bag. It was fun.

Snowman Pillows and Teigan
Can enlarge photos by clicking on them.
I made the snowman pillows for a few co-workers and the girls at the beauty shop. In the past I have made them smaller for ornaments too.
Teigan opening some of her presents. Last one is a camera, case and card from Uncle Ryan. Minnie Bowtique and she just got a couple more. LOL! Red tote is full of dress up items.

Teigan
These were pictures taken at the DuQuoin Expo Hall Saturday night. The grounds have a light display on them and then the hall has a Santa and activities for kids, a train, food and vendors.
The last picture my mom is holding Teigan in line for Santa and I asked her what she was going to tell Santa. She told me she wasn't talking to him and she didn't. Was standing but wouldn't look at him at all and hid around mom.

Teigan
Not exactly sure why the look on picture 1. Maybe cuz I asked her to smile. The second picture was taken first and she saw the camera and said smile picture. She was helping to put the tree up.
Here is a recipe that some of my family enjoy yearly at Christmas time. I have never tried them but several of them LOVE them. I found it years ago in a Country Woman Christmas hardback and my husband has made them ever since.
Snappy Horseradish Dill Pickles
1 jar (32 oz) whole dill pickles (we buy spears usually now)
1/3 cup prepared horseradish
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup cider vinegar
Drain and discard juice from pickles. Slice pickles into spears and return to jar. Add the horseradish. In a saucepan bring the sugar, water and vinegar to a boil. Remove from the heat and cool slightly. Pour over pickles. Cool completely. Cover jar and shake. Refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
Yield: 1 quart
