Found the yarn!
2 or 3 weeks ago when I was at Dollar Tree I saw a lady in an orange shirt with a scarf from this yarn. I told her I liked the scarf and then I went on a search for the yarn. It is in the Sundance collection. They have one with the yellow in it also along with several other beautiful colors. It came in the mail Friday and last night I did the scarf. Made it 3 times before I got the length I wanted. Normally I put 9 stitches on the crochet hook but with this one I only put 6 and it is the length I want. I even brought the orange shirt before I found the yarn.

My pumpkin
At work we are having a pumpkin contest. The other two people have done a GREAT job with Minnie Mouse and Bert/Ernie.

Belated Birthday gift
My nephew was 7 on September 13th and for his sisters 7th b'day I did the tied fleece blankets in whatever they were interested in. For Jackson I looked all over at stores and on line for these 2 fleeces. I finally ended up buying 2 throws and then having to cut side binding off one and the end off the other and even them up and made it like that. Money wise about the same as the girls but his is alittle smaller. He will get it Monday I guess.

Laundry Redo
This is the flooring that I picked out. Between this and a gray slate looking that the husband kinda liked but I got this. We have to do the trim yet, and paint the trim around doors and that room will be redone. One off the list and LOTS more on it. (that is a piece of paper on it I see)
Sunday afternoon
My son and husband decided to transplant the strawberries that we put out this past spring. They had several runners already. The walnuts are falling. You would out there and just hear them fall once in awhile.

One of the fur babies
The outside cat has had 3 kittens all black/white. The last couple of days my husband goes out and checks on them in the garage and this one is always out of the big box and in the little box that is out there. I guess it wants its own space. They are at the cute climbing out stage. Thankfully I have a coworker who will take these 3.
Laundry Room
I am finally getting the laundry room repainted. Will also get new flooring, a new soaking sink and redo the cabinet for it. I still like the wall paper border so keeping it. Hope the painting gets done today. They put the primer in the paint and you would think 1 coat to go over white but wrong. The wash board is actually my grandmas that she used and on it is aprons for nails that were from the lumber yard my grandpa owned. In the one picture you can see a white bench and my grandpa made that back in the 30's.

Pumpkin Pie Pudding
15 oz can pumpkin
12 oz. can evaporated milk
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup biscuit baking mix
2 eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons butter melted
2 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice (if you add 3 1/2 to 4 tsp. it is even better)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Garnish: whipped topping and can sprinkle some nutmeg or pumpkin pie spice on top
In a bowl, mix together all ingredients except the topping. Transfer to a slow cooker that has been sprayed with a non stick vegetable spray. Cover and cook on low setting for 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Pudding will start to pull away from sides of slow cooker; test for doneness with a toothpick inserted in center. Serve warm. Makes 4-6 servings.
I got this from an online friend several years ago.

123 Cake
I am sure I saw this on pinterest unless it was on a blog. It is the cake that uses an angel food cake mix (the one step one) and ANY other box of cake mix. You mix the 2 mixes together and then you use 3 tablespoons of the cake mix and 2 tablespoons of water and you put it into the microwave for 60 seconds. (45-60 the recipe says) I have did 60 on the 6 I have did.
The one made in the custard dish actually fits the cupcake liners we purchased for my daughters baby shower. This mix is with a yellow cake mix. The round one is made in the soup bowls I found at Aldis for $3.99 (Dollar General has some very much like it for $3 I saw after the purchasing of some). I brought the soup bowls thinking that for Christmas I will make up some mixes in various varieties and give to my great aunt and mom etc.. Just enough for 1 helping--could frost or serve with fruit or plain. Got a chocolate and a strawberry mix when in town today to try.
