Dollar Tree Foam Dice

 I did purchase the dice last year but never made any.  You have to paint the dice and then make your snowman.  Have seen some done up as smore ornaments.  Google the Dollar Tree Foam dice ornaments.

Recycle Can

 Another picture that I have been saving.  Using recycled cards or maybe even a picture from calendar or book and decorate it up with some glitter etc...  If not wanting to use glitter try the glitter ribbon that you can buy.  Dollar Tree normally has some--if you can find it there.  Could put mini tree, snowman, truck etc. depending on picture if you wanted to.

Giving Gifts

 When you go grocery shopping, start now buying one or two extra cans of food, or box mix etc. and then by the time places collect food for food baskets for the holidays you will have quite a collection to give.

Also, if you get a gift card to like Wal-Mart or grocery store etc. and put like $5.00 on it and when you have alittle extra maybe add $5.00 here and there and then around Thanksgiving or before Christmas send somebody in need an unsigned card with the enclosed gift card with maybe a typed message inserted.

Or do a gift basket with food and gifts and leave on the porch---knock or ring bell and run.  I wouldn't be able to get away with that one (wouldn't move fast enough)!

Sausage Bake

 This is a nice breakfast to have on hand for guest or just your family.  We like it.

8 slices bread cubed

1 1/2 lb. sausage

2 1/4 cups milk

1 can mushroom soup

1/2 can milk

2 cups grated cheese, cheddar (I have used pepper jack before)

4 eggs

1/4 tsp .dry mustard

can of mushrooms drained optional

Grease 9x13 pan. Put in cubed bread and top with cheese.  Beat eggs with milk and mustard and pour over the top.  Brown and drain sausage, spread over mixture.  Refrigerate overnight. In the morning, pour mushroom soup mixed with 1/2 can of milk on top and bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.

If using mushrooms I chop them and cook with sausage.  At times I add diced onions and green peppers along with sausage.  I am also known to add a few dashes of cajun  seasoning when cooking sausage.

Save your seeds

 If you have any gardeners on your gift list, why not save your flower seeds and give to them with a picture of the plant.  Easy ones to save or cosmos (unless finches get them first), zinnias, the moon flower, Cardinal climber, cypress vine, the touch me nots (from impatient family do not know exact name), four o'clocks and etc....

They would love getting different flowers to plant.

Cute treat bags

 Another picture I have been saving.  Cute for school, Sunday school, or to have in a bowl by the door if you have visitors stopping by.  Could put cookies in them. 

Coconut Cream Cheese Balls

 These are great little dessert treats. Great after a big meal. Very easy to make. I flopped a little of the mixture in the coconut also and it made it much easier to roll into balls. I also added confectioners sugar. Thanks Amber, we really enjoy these, not too sweet, just the way I like a dessert. Also great to make ahead of time. Will be making again soon.

INGREDIENTS:

• 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened.
• 1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple, well drained.
• 1 cup chopped pecans
• 3 cups flaked coconut.

How to Make
In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and pineapple until combined then fold in the pecans. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Take out of refrigerator and roll into 1-inch balls; then roll the balls in the coconut. Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.

I recently came across this recipe on facebook and I thought it sounded good and easy.  Alittle different from all chocolate.  Will have to try them out before Christmas.

 This is the ornament I made last year for an ornament swap.  The pattern also had some with the manger set on them, Santa, Angels and other Christmas theme buttons.  There is 2 sizes for the globes you can make.

Nice way to give some cash

 Instead of just in an envelope dress of the cash!

Snow People

 I have had this picture saved for awhile and haven't made any.  I would change the hat decoration and probably put some snow tex and glitter on them alittle.  Hats could be made from construction paper, cardboard, foam.  Depending on size of pom poms used if you have any of the old film canisters, you could use them. The little coffee thingys---maybe.
