at least I am learning some of the basics. Tom night is the last night and we are to bind it and then she will show us how to put it together, mark it and quilt. At least that is the plan. Wish it was another week and she would really be able to show us it all.
The errors:
appliques not perfect
blocks do not meet up~~the best
and the red inner border is crooked on 2 sides. Ruler slipped and I didn't notice till the yellow was on. Will see tom.. It is 10:30 now.
Could be wrong but not all material was 100% cotton so I think some of the material stretched.
It is laying up over the couch here, so not flat.

Oh Lana, your quilt is so cute! I love those adorable cherry fabrics. And don't be so hard on yourself... it's your first attempt. I think it looks pretty darn good, myself! It just takes practice to get those blocks lined up perfectly...believe me! I'm still trying! :o)
Can't wait to see the next one you do!
XOXO,

your quilt is so cute and happy! I am sorry you are stressing about little things like seams not being perfect. I sew because it is fun and relaxes me and gives me a sense of accomplishment. And I never fret over little things, just enjoy your sewing and make more quilts :)
Don't look at it through critical eyes...It's beautiful and so cheery-cherry! I love it...if you can't live with the imperfections, you can always send it to mu house where it will be loved! LOL ;D
Thank you for all the sweet comments!!! I still have to bind it and then I think I will try to quilt it on the machine. I really liked the class with this lady.
I think it's beautiful! And if anyone complains tell them they're welcome to take it home and fix the imperfections! LOL!!!
