On Jan. 30th we had temps in the low 60s so was a GREAT day to take Teigan to see some of our lambs and the chickens. Also she went out to the dairy farm that my son works on. We have 22 newborn lambs and about 10 left to lamb. Thought I downloaded some of her with some of our spotted ones but...

Couple more quilt tops, Teigan and a couple with the back splash going up
Pictures 1 and 3 are a couple more tops. As you can see in the 1st top----I forgot to cut off the first 19" before starting---duh--this is the 5th one I have did and the 4th in less than a week. When you cut it off the angles will be spread out more thru out the quilt.
Teigan sleeping--took almost a 2 hour nap yesterday.
The back splash finally going up. The first picture the cabinet handle to far right will be the new ones. Counters are to come tom. a.m. and be put on. Purchased all back in October, but then they were behind, Allen go sick, the holidays so now moving on it. My new stove is in too.

2 tops for Christmas 2016
These are 2 tops that I have started for Christmas. They are done the jelly roll race style. I will put a border around them yet. Have 3 more to do of this style and then 3 blue jean squares for the boys. They are to be for 2 nieces and 3 great nieces and then 1 nephew and 2 great nephews. Lets see if I can keep ahead of the game!!!! Colors not planned this way--just the way they ended up.
Can click on them to make them larger. Pardon the floor--my scraps end up around.
My curtains have to be hemmed but waiting on a new curtain rod and have to stain the bay window area. Found 1 rod I like but still looking.

Baked Potato Soup
Serves 6
1 (32 oz) bag frozen hash browns
1 (32 oz) box chicken broth
1 (10 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese grated plus extra for garnish
3/4 cup crumbled bacon plus extra for garnish
1/2 teaspoon fresh rosemary minced
kosher salt and freshly ground pepper to taste.
Combine hash browns, cheddar cheese, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, bacon bits and cream cheese in slow cooker.
Season with salt and pepper then use a spoon to break up cream cheese and mix together.
Place lid on slow cooker and cook on high for 3 hours stirring occasionally or until potatoes are tender.
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Garnish with rosemary, cheddar cheese and bacon bits.
I did not use rosemary and just used regular salt as was out of kosher.

Sorry for the huge pictures!
Thought I had it fixed but as you can see I don't. Don't know. Santa was Christmas Eve in the pictures--rest Christmas a.m.. Teigan playing with her tea set while waiting for Uncle Ryan to get home from morning work at the dairy farm. She did start to rip one. She loved the rocker we got her. The presents around the tree were for 6 people--even tho Teigan kinda won out!
We have to get a new curtain rod yet--can't find the size in what I like. And we have to stain the new window area and put trim up in places.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO MY BLOG LAND FRIENDS!!!!
Wishing you a blessed healthy year!
My hope is to pay more attention to my health and to decrapify things in the house, shed and garage. Also to get a few things lined out and some work done inside the house!
