Miscellaneous

Shorty and the stray cat that has been here over a year.  She is the cat that had 3 babies back inside his doghouse about a month ago.  About a week ago she moved them down to the sheep shed.  She doesn't let people get to close to her.  She is getting better. (babies in other picture are from another cat that is ours) She still comes up and spends time with Shorty.

Rose bush that was my mother in laws.  Shed died in '95 and we we brought it home.  Was small then.  It is really loaded.

Last picture is of an Baltimore Oriole.  We have them every year and I put out orange halves and grape jelly and I do believe this is the first time I have seen them using eating any.  They love to try to get into our hummingbird feeder, even tho we have an Oriole feeder.  I love tghe bright orange on the birds.

First time out in the yard

They were so cute smelling the air and checking out the grass.  The solid black is so playful.  White is so cute with those two black spots and a black tail. I love the coloring on the other one.  Would love to keep it but these are given away.  They will probably leave next week-end.

Fell from tree

When Allen was cooking out the other night, he heard this rat snake fall from the tree.  Looks like maybe it got some baby birds. Patches (cat) walked by it when the mouth was opened.

Miscellaneous Shots

Sunset, the moon, remember blowing these around when younger :), bees in the cherry tree (have them in a pole (power pole and maple tree too) we have teeny tiny cauliflower making.  Got it out when cool but was cool and rainy so it just sat there.

Horseradish

We put out about a dozen horseradish plants this year.  They are blooming.

Purple Martins

I have had my house for several years and in the past have had scouts and maybe 1 pair but I have a few this year.

Baby Shower

We had a shower for one of our coworkers daddy to be last night.  It was a meeting and we threw in the surprise shower.  The bib has a poem in it and 2 games, then I did the popcorn wrappers and the 2 prizes were the boxes of candy and a Wal-Mart gift card.  The door prize was the bib with a rubber duckie on the back cover. It was candy, body wash, bag holders and chex mix.

I made a couple burp rags, a bib and then the lollipop is a plastic spoon with a pair of soxs that I crocheted beads on wrapped up and tied.  The quilt is the room theme.  It is the first quilt that I did completely on machine.
