A Mrs. Goosey outfit

Another gift towards Christmas is made! Had to tear an old faded outfit apart to get the pattern. Not sure the bonnet is totally correct but it works and doesn't look bad.

In this picture is 6 kittens. The calico had 5 babies and then a few days later the black/white had 6. Something happened with the black and white ones and then one day she started getting in the box with the other babies and sometimes they were both in there. Then also all of a sudden a 6th kitten showed up so I guess she saved one and brought it over. Last night I was going thru the breezeway and they were laying here with each nursing 3. Teamwork--gotta love it!

Garage cleaning

Very overdue garage cleaning is taking place!!! Saturday was moving everything out, Allen is pressure washing it now and I am going to go start sorting! That is my 3 day week-end. But I will be so thrilled when it is done. Then onto a shed about 1 1/2 the size is the next project.

My day off and I spent it how I wanted !!!!!

I always have plans to do something I would like and my plans normally get changed but today I sewed.  The projects were easy ones but I got several done.

The shirt was just a seam that had to be put in and the hem done, made a new checkbook cover for summer, the quilt top is the 1600" jelly roll one--it was so fun and easy to do (took about 2 1/2 hours) will have to decide how to set it, and the last one is bibs made from washcloths.  Sorry the picture is blurry and the orange one is raised up on my leg ---not crooked (at least not that much LOL!).

Became a favorite of ours since

I am eating somewhat different (healthy).  It is squash, onions, green peppers, salt, pepper and garlic salt.  Sometimes we use squash and zucchini together and other times we add asparagus with alittle water and put it on the grill. YUMMY!!!

I took a zillion pictures last night trying to catch the lightening.  Never really got a good one.  My camera is acting up some.  (due to me dropping it twice on 1 walk---:( )

Odd & Ends

The honeysuckle is blooming so when walking or outside you can smell it.  Top picture is honeysuckle and wild roses. 

 Some of our sheep with the youngest lambs.  Have 3 to lamb yet.

The barn and storage shed.  Need some painting and new metal. Hope we can get that done before winter.  The pole and coffee can (water we take) is for the dog Shorty when he goes.  At times he has to be tied up.
