Simple Pineapple Cake

I know I have posted this recipe before but here it is again. My nieces and nephew really like it. My grandpa got this recipe awhile back when grandma was in a nursing home it was published in a newsletter that went out and he always made it. He gave the recipe to me.

1 Angel Food Cake Mix (the one step cake mix)

1 20 oz can crushed pineapple undrained

Mix the cake mix, and crushed pineapple together until well blended. Put into a 9X13 cake pan that has been sprayed. Bake in a 325 oven until done. (mine takes about 35 minutes) Pineapple can be substituted for a large can of mandarin oranges. I rarely frost mine but they wanted frosting so put powder sugar on it. Could use cool whip also.

Hi Lana
that cake looks good, lower calories than most desserts too.
I have some salvages for you, just have not had time to get them packed up and mailed.
We are getting some much needed rain right now :)
