My grandparents had this for years and when they passed away in 2005 my mom had kept it for me. It was actually started from one if my great grandparents. She brought it out to me maybe about 1 1/2 months ago and it seems to be doing good. I am not sure which one it is. Going to bloom tho. Jaymee will want a start of it when she moves.

Hey Lana! I used to have one of those cacti and I never knew which one it was... all I know is that it bloomed reliably every year, and sometimes it bloomed twice a year. They are so pretty when in bloom. And yes, you will definitely have to give Jaymee a start of it for her new home!
XOXO,
Cyndi
Mine has started to bloom now too! It is so cool that your cactus has been passed down from a previous generation.
