Guess Who?

Okay, she is only 3 days old today.  So give this first time grandma alittle bragging time! lol

Teigan

Finally one without a hat.  She came home about 7:30 tonight. She does look like her mom when she was born.  The nose, hair color and the hair line.

My granddaughter

Teigan Parker was born at 5:20 p.m. 7 lbs 10 ozs and was 21".

First picture is with Grandpa Allen, then Uncle Ryan, then the parents my daughter Jaymee and Ryan, Daddy Ryan holding her and the last one is me holding her.

Car Seat Cover

I finally got the cover made.  It was really easy to follow the instructions and made up quick.  A perfect fit too!

Top quilt Jaymee made out of a piece of quilt material that I had quilts made for her brother when he was like 3 (about 26 yrs ago).  The binding she made herself but I sure couldn't get it sewn on as nice as I would of liked.

The middle quilt I started like 3 yrs. ago and just had to finish the binding.  Corners are square on it.

Made 2 door latch thingys for the babys room.

Quilt my daughter did but I sewed the binding on.  She used 2" painters tape to mark the lines.  Can you BELIEVE the corners turned out!!!!!  But the next one I tried didn't! :(

Burp rags, bibs and washcloths I made for my upcoming granddaughter.  She is due in 11 days.

I can't seem to...............................

post any pictures on my blog.  Anybody have any ideals?  They load but then I get a ball that goes from orange to yellow and just stays there.

2014 more of first snowstorm

The place I worked closed today so I am home.  Cleaning some, will do homemade bread or rolls for supper with chicken and dumplings and salad.  Probably a dessert too.
Couldn't resist when I saw the moon thru the tree last night.
2nd picture is of our fish pond in front yard---it is even with the yard.  Got about 12"
3rd picture is across the road.
4th is from my kitchen window.

We were snowed in and the township had to have backhoes dig the drifts to the highway for about 1/2 mile.  Drifts were 4' and some to cab of pickup.  First time the road had to be dug out since we have been here (almost 27 yrs.), have heard stories of the past.  It drifts all the time but not this bad.

Gift

My friend made me one of these before Christmas.   It is about a 12" wide and 22" long burlap bag stuffed with paper.  Cinnamon stick tied on the top.

Hubby

Taking care of business outside so if the snow really hits the high amounts.  Bird feeders, animals, furnace, etc.

Our first snow 2014

They say we are in the 10 to 12" plus with the winds getting up to 20-30 mph.  Tom. the high -5 lowest in over 20 yrs they say for a day time high.  Think they are moving it to 6-10" depending where the sleet goes.  I know several of you are COLDER ALL the time.

We put Shorty the dog out in the shed with straw and his house.

Birds are all around the feeder and I guess digging down to the seed on the ground.
